ALLISON

Longtime Dubois resident Mary Jean Brebrick Allison, 92, died Sept. 8, 2017, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 4 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Our Lady of the Woods Catholic Church in Dubois. A celebration of life for friends and family will be at 4 p.m. June 8, 2018, at the Rustic Pine Tavern. Cremation has taken place.

The Wyoming Wildlife Federation Summit to Sage Wildlife Talk is 6-9 p.m. in the Colter Loft above the Lander Bar, 126 E. Main St. Attendees will talk about WWF work and ways to get involved. Most of the WWF board and staff will be there.

November 30, 5-9 p.m., December 1, 5-9 p.m., December 2, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. The community event will showcase nativities, children's activities, musical performances, artwork displays and family photos.

The Christmas Craft Fair will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Margaret's gym. Admission and coffee is free. Children can take pictures with Santa. The fair is featuring artists from all over western Wyoming including top quality merchandise. Concessions will be open with chili, cheese and chips. For more information call 465-7094.

The Central Wyoming College Equine Center chili cook-off will accept chili entries from 10:30 to 11 a.m. and winners will be announced at 1:30 p.m. Entry fee is $5. Attendees can receive a hot chocolate and chili for $5. Contestants must state name of chili, type of meat and label as mild or hot. Attendees can vote on their favorite by placing money in a jar by their favorite chili. Chili with most money wins and winner will receive prizes. All proceeds help the equine students for the annual International Certified Horsemanship Association conference. For more information call Jennifer Cole at 855-2302 or email jcole@cwc.edu.

Horse drawn sleigh rides with Santa at the Central Wyoming College equine center will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost is $3 for children and $5 for adults.

The Wyoming Wildlife Federation Annual Board Meeting is noon to 2 p.m. Dec. 2 at the Fremont County Library, 451 N. Second St., in Lander.

Breakfast with Bighorns: Join Big Horn Sheep Center staff and volunteers on a driving tour and short trek of our local bighorn sheep habitat viewing area 8-10 a.m. from Dubois. A light breakfast will be provided. For more information call 455-3429.

A clothing giveaway will be held 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wind River Lutheran Mission at the corner of Trout Creek Road and Highway 287 near Hines General Store in Fort Washakie. Everyone is welcome.

The annual Spirit of Christmas event is at 7 p.m. at the Headwaters Arts & Conference Center in Dubois. Packin' the Mail will play western dancing music, and Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be attending. Desserts will be served at intermission, when the winners of a gift basket raffle will be announced. . Donations are appreciated at the door. For more information call 455-2284.

The Wind River Native Advocacy Center Annual Membership Meeting is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the new office in the log building next to Hines Store in Fort Washakie. In Riverton Police Department reports Tuesday:

-Peter Blackburn, 30, of Arapahoe, was arrested at about 12:05 a.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of South Federal Boulevard on an outstanding Riverton municipal warrant for contempt of court.

- Police responded at about 7:05 a.m. Tuesday to a hit and run report that a 2005 Nissan Titan had been struck "sometime in the night" in the 900 block of Hillside Avenue. Information about the extent of the damage was unavailable.

- Nyla Reed, 27, of Riverton, was arrested at about 9:40 a.m. Tuesday in the 2600 block of East Monroe Avenue on an outstanding Fremont County warrant for failure to appear.

- Priscilla Lopez, 28, of Riverton, and Robert Lopez, 43, of Riverton, both were arrested at about 5:25 p.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of West Fremont Avenue on outstanding Fremont County warrants.

- Aloysius Piper, 50, of Ethete, was arrested at about 9:55 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of East Main Street on an outstanding Riverton municipal warrant.

In Fremont County Sheriff's Office reports Tuesday:

-Natasha Kornder, 41, of Arapahoe, was arrested at about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Left Hand Ditch Road in Arapahoe on a Fremont County warrant for probation revocation.

- A 40-year-old man was cited at about 11:10 a.m. Tuesday in Riverton for violation of a protection order. Initial reports indicate he sent a letter.

- Ranson Thompson, 37, of Lander, was arrested at about 1 p.m. Tuesday in the 2100 block of Spriggs Drive in Lander for driving under the influence and failure to report a property damage collision. Deputies initially responded to reports that a power pole had been knocked over. Officials said Thompson is alleged to have struck the power pole while operating a 2015 GMC truck; he then drove off, according to reports, which indicate he was located at a nearby residence.

- Jennie Becenti, 48, of Fort Washakie, was arrested at about 2 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of Railroad Street in Lander on a Fremont County warrant for probation revocation.

- Theodore Bell, 35, of Riverton, was arrested at about 3:35 p.m. Tuesday in the 1100 block of Major Avenue in Riverton on a Fremont County warrant for failure to appear.

- A deputy reported at about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday that a vehicle had hit a cow in the 300 block of Left Hand Ditch Road near Arapahoe.

- David Vredenburg, 20, of Cody, was arrested on a Fremont County warrant for contempt of court.
