COLLINS

Russell "Rusty" Collins, 66, of Riverton, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, at SageWest Health Care at Riverton. A viewing will be held 5-7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, at Davis Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017, at Davis Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Collins Cemetery

Breakfast with Bighorns: Join Big Horn Sheep Center staff and volunteers on a driving tour and short trek of our local bighorn sheep habitat viewing area 8-10 a.m. from Dubois. A light breakfast will be provided. For more information call 455-3429.

The 46th annual Arts in Action Winter Art Fair will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Fremont County Fairgrounds Fremont Center. The Winter Farmer's Market will be every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the 4H lunchroom at the Fremont County Fairgrounds.

The Annual Riverton Christmas Craft and Vendor Fair is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Convention Center, 900 E. Sunset Drive in Riverton. Admission is free and there will be food and drawings. The Riverton Council of Catholic Women's Annual Bazaar will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in St. Margaret's gym, 609 East Park Avenue. Special features include Grandma's Corner with handmade baby items; queen-sized quilt raffle for $1 per ticket; Mexican lunch from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; cookie jar and other silent auction items, Christmas second time around; white elephant section; Fabric Bonanza; baked goods and crafts.

Paws for Life Pictures with Santa Claus and cookie decorating contest will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Riverton Senior Center. Pictures are $15 per sitting, which includes a CD and is for pets, children and adults. Prizes will be awarded for first and second places in all categories of the cookie contest, which include best decorated, most traditional, most Christmas-y, chocolatey-est, and best tasting. Registration begins at 1:30 p.m. and costs $10 to enter 2 dozen cookies. Call Pamela at 840-0741 to register. Cookies will be sold during the event for $1 each or a dozen for $10. Holiday plates will also be available for $2.

Two doctors will be available, as opposed to the usual four, so people are encouraged to make appointments ahead of time by calling 699-1946. Appointments are available on a first come, first served basis. Animals should not be fed on the morning of surgery, and pets should be brought to the clinic in a carrier. Animals will be ready to go home a few hours after the procedure. Bring tribal membership cards for check-in.

A Daddy Daughter Dance will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Fellowship Hall of the Riverton United Methodist Church. All dads, father figures and daughters are welcome to attend. There will be music, a photo booth, games, dessert bar and dancing. Tickets can be purchased beforehand by contacting Angie at 851-9054 or Cathy at 751-9389. In Riverton Police Department reports Wednesday:

-Jonathan Giannino, 22, of Riverton, was cited at about 8:35 a.m. Wednesday in the 1400 block of West Sunset Drive for failure to maintain lane.

- Vincent Brown, 39, of Arapahoe, was arrested at about 10 a.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of North Broadway on a Fremont County Sheriff's Office warrant.

- A man was trespassed at about 11 a.m. Wednesday from a property in the 1100 block of Riverview Road.

- Dallas Dresser, 30, of St. Stephen's, and Duane Shakespeare, 33 of Riverton, both were arrested at about 4:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 600 block of North Federal Boulevard for public intoxication. Dresser also had five Riverton municipal warrants, officials said, and Shakespeare had one municipal warrant.

- Rosita Piper, 30, of Arapahoe, was arrested at about 5 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of North Federal Boulevard for public intoxication.

- Robin Blind, 36, of Riverton, was arrested at about 5:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of North Federal Boulevard for public intoxication.

- Larry Patterson, 61, of Riverton, was arrested for driving under the influence and no driver's license after police responded to a Report Every Drunken Driver Immediately (REDDI) report at about 7 p.m. Wednesday on Webbwood Road. His passenger, Billy Non, 61, of Riverton, was arrested at about 7:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of North Federal Boulevard for breach of peace. Officials said he "kept getting out" of the vehicle and "screaming obscenities and cussing." He warned several times to stop, according to reports, but he refused to comply.

- Cynthia Shakespeare, 54, of Arapahoe, was arrested at about 8 p.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of East Main Street on a Riverton municipal warrant.

- Anderson Antelope, 34, of Ethete, was arrested at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of West Main Street for public intoxication.

- Edward Brown, 58, of Riverton, was arrested at about 10:55 p.m. Wednesday in the 600 block of East Fremont Avenue for public intoxication.

In Fremont County Sheriff's Office reports Wednesday:

-No injuries were recorded in a traffic incident reported at about 2:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 600 block of South First Street in Dubois involving a vehicle and a deer.

- Timothy Ehle, 50, of Riverton, was arrested at about 4:45 p.m. Wednesday on Firethorn Lane in Riverton for breach of peace. Deputies were responding to reports that three people were in an alley with one "kid holding another on (ground), covered in blood." Officials said no children or weapons were involved in the altercation.
