Douglas "Doug" Robert Stockton, 74, died Nov. 11, 2017, at the Help for Health Hospice Home in Riverton, surrounded by his family. A memorial mass will be held at noon Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father James Schumacher officiating. A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20,at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Memorial contributions to the St. Walburga Abbey in care of Davis Funeral Home will be appreciated.

ROSS

Marlin Belnap Ross, 60, died Nov. 8, 2017, in Lander, due to complications after having pneumonia. There will be a celebration of life service at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13, in the All Faith Chapel at the Wyoming Life Resource Center. A service will be held at a later date in Ogden, Utah, and he will be laid to rest in the Washington Heights Memorial Cemetery with his family at that time.

In Riverton Police Department weekend reports through Monday:

-Edward Brown, 58, of Riverton, was arrested at about 8:25 a.m. Thursday in the 900 block of East Washington Avenue for public intoxication.

- Police responded at about 3:05 p.m. Thursday to reports that a 17-year-old girl who had been listed as a runaway and a 14-year-old Riverton girl had taken a vehicle from the 100 block of North Fifth Street West. Officials said they had taken another student's keys and left school with the vehicle, which was found at the girls' house undamaged.

- No injuries were recorded in a minor traffic incident reported at about 5:25 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Major Avenue and Riverview Road. Officials said the incident involved a deer.

- Samuel Whiteplume, 35, of Riverton, was arrested at about 6:25 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of West Adams Avenue for battery. No injuries were recorded.

- Hauser Harris, 30, of Riverton, was arrested at about 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of South Third Street West for criminal entry. Officials said he got into someone's camper and was sleeping in the bed. No damage was recorded.

- About $340 in miscellaneous clothing and other items were reported stolen at about 8:30 p.m. Thursday from a vehicle in the 600 block of South Second Street West. The reporting party said the vehicle was locked, and officials said it looked like one door may have been pried open.

- Lucas Sanchez, 37, of Riverton, was arrested at about 11:15 p.m. Thursday in the 800 block of Webbwood Road on a municipal warrant. He also was cited for no driver's license.

- Jared Sherman, 31, of Riverton, was arrested at about 12:20 a.m. Friday on Sioux Avenue on two Riverton municipal warrants. Cameron Sherman, 27, of Riverton, was arrested on a Fremont County Sheriff's Office warrant.

- No injuries were recorded in a minor traffic incident reported at about 9 a.m. Friday in the 500 block of East Sunset Drive.

- A 17-year-old Riverton girl was cited at about 11 a.m. Friday in the 900 block of Westridge Drive for assault. Officials said she "smacked" her mother.

- Donald Wilson, 32, of Riverton, was arrested at about 6:40 p.m. Friday in the 1100 block of Pinecrest Street for stop sign violation and interference. Officials said he pulled into his driveway after police attempted to stop him, and he continued walking toward his house when officers told him to stop.

- Robert Richards, 41, of Riverton, was arrested at about 10:45 p.m. Friday in the 1100 block of East Park Avenue for public intoxication.

- Shanel Williams, 24, of Riverton, was arrested at about 1:50 a.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of East Park Avenue for battery on a household member. Minor injuries were recorded, and no treatment was required, officials said.

- Lennis Arthur, 32, of Riverton, was arrested at about 2:45 a.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of East Park Avenue for battery on a household member and interference. Police at the scene said they heard a woman screaming in the area. When they located the woman, they said Arthur was "standing over" her. When they told Arthur to move, he started "walking at them," officials said, and when they told him to stop he didn't, so they grabbed him and tried taking to the ground, but he resisted and fought. Reports state the woman went to the local hospital for unrelated health problems.

- A 17-year-old Riverton boy was cited at about 10:50 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Granite Circle for minor in possession. Reese Ortiz, 19, of Riverton, was cited for possession of marijuana and arrested on a Fremont County Sheriff's Office warrant; officials said he later "bonded out." Jonathan Knight, 18, of Riverton, was cited for minor in possession and possession of marijuana. Officials said police were responding to reports of a verbal altercation in the area.

- A 13-year-old girl who had been signed as a runaway was located at about 3:10 a.m. Sunday in the 900 block of North Broadway and taken home.

- John Hevewah, 52, of Riverton, was arrested at about 5:40 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of North Federal Boulevard on a Fremont County Sheriff's Office warrant.

- Ronald Brown, 51, of Riverton, was arrested at about 11:20 a.m. Sunday in the 700 block of East Main Street for public intoxication.

- Benjamin Ridgley, 61, of Ethete, was arrested at about 4 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of East Main Street for public intoxication.

- Anderson Antelope Jr., 34 of Riverton, was arrested at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of West Main Street on two municipal warrants. Officials said he also was cited for shoplifting; reports state he took a couple of cans of cleaning and disinfecting products from a store in the area.

- Shado Duran, 29, of Arapahoe, was arrested at about 6:55 p.m. Sunday in the 3000 block of College Hill Drive for resisting. Police were responding to reports that Duran was trying to get into an apartment in the area. When they arrived they said he was in the back of the apartment building trying to get in through a window; they told him to stop, and he failed to comply, so they "grabbed" him, and he pulled away. Officials said they took him to the ground, and he continued to resist, so they had to handcuff him.

- Roy Reignier, 50, of Riverton, was arrested at about 7:55 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of East Main Street for public intoxication and on a Fremont County Sheriff's Office warrant.

- A 16-year-old Riverton girl was arrested at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of North Federal Boulevard on two Fremont County Sheriff's Office warrants.

- Citations for battery on a household member and reckless endangering have been prepared for the suspect in an incident reported at about 10:45 p.m. Sunday in the 600 block of South Federal Boulevard. Officials said the man was in a vehicle with a woman, and he was physically abusing her; he continued driving as she jumped out of the vehicle. She suffered minor injuries to her knee, according to reports.

- David Gutierrez-Martin, 22 of Riverton, was arrested at about 1:40 a.m. Monday in the 100 block of South Fifth Street East for public intoxication. He also was charged at about 5:15 a.m. Monday in the 800 block of North Federal Boulevard for possession of methamphetamine.

- Police responded at about 7:40 a.m. Monday to reports of a minor hit and run incident in the 1000 block of East Park Avenue.

No injuries were recorded in a minor traffic incident reported at about 12:50 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of South Federal Boulevard.

- Brian Bell, 46, of Riverton, and Paul Bell, 56, of Riverton, both were arrested at about 4 p.m. Monday in the 800 block of East Main Street for public intoxication. Paul Bell also was charged with property destruction; officiasl said he started a fire at City Park and burned some grass.

- Edward Brown, 58, of Riverton, was arrested at about 4:05 p.m. Monday in the 700 block of North Federal Boulevard for public intoxication.

- Houston Headley, 49, of Ethete, was arrested at about 4:40 p.m. Monday in the 1300 block of West Park Avenue for public intoxication.

Robin Blind, 36, of Riverton, was arrested at about 7:15 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of South First Street for public intoxication.

- Rosita Piper, 30, of Arapahoe, and Patrick Arthur, 19, of Riverton, both were arrested at about 7:45 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of North Federal Boulevard, for public intoxication and on three Fremont County Sheriff's Office warrants, respectively.

- Dana Black, 18, of Riverton, was arrested at about 9 p.m. Monday in the 2400 block of Walnut Drive for minor in possession.

In Fremont County Sheriff's Office weekend reports through Monday:

-Cory McFarland, 21, of Riverton, was arrested at about 11:35 a.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Burma Road north of Riverton on a Fremont County warrant for failure to appear.

- No injuries were recorded in a traffic incident reported at about 3:20 p.m. Thursday in the 6500 block of U.S. Highway 26 near Dubois. Reports state a white Chevy truck had struck a deer.

- Injuries were recorded after a one-vehicle rollover was reported at about 8 p.m. Thursday in the 800 block of Sand Draw Road east of Riverton. The Wyoming Highway Patrol responded.

- The Wind River Police Department responded at about 9:40 a.m. Friday to reports that four or five people were stuck in a truck on Crow Ridge near Dubois.

- Cordell Cloud, 31, of Ethete, was arrested at about 12:45 p.m. Friday in the 11500 block of U.S. Highway 26 near Kinnear on a Fremont County warrant for revocation of release.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol responded at about 12:35 p.m. Saturday to reports that a truck and horse trailer had flipped in the 4000 block of Wyoming Highway 28 over South Pass.

- Deputies responded at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday to reports of a pig on a porch in the 300 block of West Ramshorn Street in Dubois.

- The Wyoming Game and Fish Department responded at about 5:20 p.m. Saturday to reports of a weapon offense in the Pavillion area. Initial reports indicated people were "driving around shooting near houses;" officials said the incident involved poaching.

- No injuries were recorded in a traffic incident reported at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the 6400 block of U.S. Highway 26 near Dubois. The reporting party said she hit a deer.

- Clifford Wilson, 21, of Fort Washakie, was arrested on a Fremont County warrant for failure to appear.

- Deputies are investigating a burglary reported at about 6:30 a.m. Monday near Kinnear.

- Deputies responded at about 8:20 a.m. Monday to reports that a van tire had been slashed in the 1500 block of East Monroe Avenue in Riverton.

- Deputies responded at about 10:35 a.m. Monday to reports that a dog was chasing cattle in the 1700 block of Webbwood Road north of Riverton.

- Deputies responded at about 7 p.m. Monday to reports that a vehicle had struck a deer in the 400 block of West Ramshorn Street in Dubois. No injuries were recorded.
