Wyoming Indian High School’s gym was filled with friends, relatives and community members there to attend its annual holiday music program on Thursday evening. The program opened with the Arapaho flag song, performed by senior Hiram Magnan, followed by a wide variety of songs performed on piano, guitar, and the drums. Highlights of the evening included America Oldman’s rendition of “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” on the piano and a rendition of “Silent Night” that included a verse sung in Arapaho. Other songs included “Indian Cars,” here performed by Aven Posey, Noah Red Willow and Marley C’Hair; as well as well-known University of Wyoming pep band song “California,” performed by the beginner drumline (Madison Johnson, Jullian Lebeau, Breyanna Little Shield, Kimber Mann, Yesselyn Rodriguez, Autumn Scott, Jace Ware, Joey Wallowingbull, Surae Trumbull, Ruby Barton and Kady Dresser).
